Some of you may know I’m a Kel-Tec fan. I‘ve owned 6, and currently have 4

  • P32 7+1 6.6oz mouse gun in .32ACP
  • P17 17+1 .22lr pistol
  • PMR30 30+1 .22wmr pistol
  • CMR30 30+1 .22wmr rifle
  • CP33 33+1 .22lr pistol (sold)
  • RDB bull pup 5.56 rifle (sold)

their new offering will be available soon… here’s the skinny:

In honor of the company's 30th anniversary, Kel-Tec released its first-ever striker-fired handgun, and it's being marketed as the lightest, thinnest handgun of its type on the market.
“KelTec invented subcompact, polymer handguns,” Director of Sales and Marketing Derek Kellgren said. “So we wanted our first 9 mm striker-fired pistol to be worthy of the company George Kellgren founded 31 years ago.”
The new Kel-Tec P15, as its name suggests, carries a magazine capacity of 15 rounds in 9 mm, despite its ultra-thin dimensions. This is accomplished through an innovative, patent-pending, extended magazine design. The new guns are also equipped with fiber-optic front sights, an adjustable rear sight and "gator" grip texturing for a solid hold. Additionally, each gun is equipped with a reversible push-button magazine release. At the rear of the grip frame, there's also a grip safety. The gun features a single-slot Picatinny accessory rail on the front of the frame, as well as serrations on the front and rear of the slide.
Unloaded, the Kel-Tec P15 weighs in at 14 ozs. The gun measures 6.6" long, 5" high and 0.875" wide. Barrel length measures 4". The suggested retail price on the P15 is $425, and guns are slated to be available in Q2 of 2022. For more information on the new Kel-Tec P15, visit keltecweapons.com.

of course I may be ‘first on the block‘ to get one… how about you?

if the tigger on the P15 is as good as I expect (based on the triggers on their other guns)… I’ll be impressed.

more about the P15 (specs are different in this article)

Theres a few Kel-Tec firearms I'd like to own just my state took away my right to own them. Plus the last time I talked to them they were not to nice about it. Hoping they got better and while this firearm looks good I'm not ready for another 9mm. The market is FLOODED with 9mm.

Kel-Tec pushes the envelope with its designs and I really like that about them.

I do have the PF-9 and its a good firearm. Some others have had problems with the PF-9, though I question their problems. Would it be they bought a ticket on the bandwagon train? Bought one and it jammed right after the first magazine then hopped on the bandwagon as it went by? limp wrist? poor ammo? etc list goes on.

The only thing is, I bought two of the plus one magazines for the PF-9 and two of the extensions. These do jam. Wrote to Kel-Tec about it and they pretty much told me to **** off, great C/S there. Must have been a bad day seeing twice before I called them they were great. Hit or miss I guess.

What I would like to see is the PF-9 made in an aluminum frame. Been saying this for sometime now and even posted it on the Kel-Tec site, don't know if that site is still on the net its been that long. There were two if I remember right.
