I use Breakfree CLP on all my firearms. I use the aerosol CLP to clean with and the oil CLP as a final coat. I find that I'll clean the internals of my firearms and a few days later the entire exterior of the gun will have a light coat of CLP. It is as if I wiped down the outside with oil having that dark wet appearance to it.
