Last fall, we took my Cub Scout Webelos Den 1(9 and 10 year olds) camping. There were 10 boys, most of which have never seen the inside of a tent before. There were 3 of us that were expierienced campers, the rest were not.

All in all, it was fun. Did a lot of cooking in the dutch ovens. Boys had a ball and even learned something.

I was a scout leader for 4 years it gave me gray hair and wrinkles and almost a heart attack

I am an Eagle Scout who spent 3 years as SPL and cub scout camping was the worst. Many didnt camp and the parents were so help when it came to chain of command.
