The left can't let go of Justice Brett Kavanaugh. I guess that's what Roe v Wade has done to them.

The latest attack is familiar and it involves the New York Times:

Times reporters Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly stated in a piece published Saturday that well before Kavanaugh became a federal judge "at least seven people" had heard about how Kavanaugh allegedly exposed himself to Deborah Ramirez at a party.

The report also included a new allegation that Kavanaugh similarly thrust his penis at an unwilling woman at an alcohol-fueled college party.

The president defended Kavanaugh, whom he nominated to the court in 2018.

At some point, this malicious reporting has to stop.

First, this "new" story is simply a replay of one retailed last year in whcih Deborah Ramirez claimed to be the victim. It was thoroughly debunked at the time and the Times story adds no new evidence.

Second, the alleged attack occurred in the 1980s at a college party. Did anyone actually see it? The Times reportage doesn't mention anyone.

Third, I think that there should be limits on attacking public people, especially allegations like this that go back 35-plus years.

President Trump is right. Justice Kavanaugh should sue and force his critics to take the stand in a trial. Maybe it will never happen, but enough with these attacks on Justice Kavanaugh, and, more specifically, judges who think that voters rather than courts should decide the matter of abortion.

What Kavanaugh went through during the confirmation process will look like a Sunday ice-cream social, compared to what Trump's nominee to take Ruth Vader Ginsburg's seat, will have to endure.

It all looks so twisted.

Nick Sandmann, a student at Covington Catholic High School in Park Hills, Kentucky, sued the newspaper five months ago, claiming its coverage of what transpired at the Lincoln Memorial Jan. 18 – when Sandmann, wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat smiled just inches away from Nathan Phillips, "a Native American leader", as he chanted and beat a drum – was biased.
The suit claimed there were “no less than six false and defamatory articles” in the newspaper about the encounter, which had gone viral almost immediately.

A federal judge July 26 dismissed a $250 million lawsuit against The Washington Post by a Kentucky Catholic high school student, ruling the newspaper’s articles and tweets about the student’s actions after the annual March for Life in January were protected by the First Amendment.

In his 36-page ruling, U.S. District Judge William Bertelsman examined each of the 33 statements in question and found none of them to be defamatory and the vast majority to be quoting opinion, which is protected free speech.“The statements that Sandmann challenges constitute protected opinions that may not form the basis for a defamation claim,” he wrote.

Hope, I won't have any problem with Trump's next appointee.

I won't give any dim smear a second thought. - Just want a confirmation.

Justice Kavanaugh had better grow a thick skin, as thick as an alligator, and he better be ready to fight like an alligator too. Because they ain't gonna leave him alone.

All of the things that have happened to him, must have come as a real shock. This ain't Yale, it is more like Hell, and he had better get tough.
He would do well to learn Judo, he may need it. And it would toughen him up.
