Hello, I have an early model Winchester model 88 in 308. The gun has been I'm my family since new. It has been passed around from grandfather to uncles to cousins and now me. Sometime in its travels, it was relieved of its factory stock and was upgraded to a fancy wood Monte Carlo stock with large pistol grip and Pachmayr recoil pad. I like the gun, but not the stock. It's in good condition but does not fit me well. Unfortunately the factory stock was discarded or misplaced and is long gone. I would like to buy an early model factory stock or trade this one for a factory one. I can email or text pictures if interested. I know you can get new replacement stocks, but then I would need to get it inletted, finish it and have a butt plate or pad installed. I will go that route if have to, but I'm trying to avoid that.

Thank you,

Joe
