Simple question: if Glock started offering their pistols with manual safeties, would you be interested in buying one?

I have purchased two Glocks recently. I like the current safety features just the way they are. I see no need for a change.

Yea, I probably would. When it comes to guns I am capable of buying about anything! :)

isn't that more or less what the XD is ?

and yes a Glock should have some other kind of safety , i just can't trust the idea of a preset striker , short pull of the trigger with no other safety , cause once your finger is on the trigger the safety is gone

You guys are likely uncomfortable with the notion of carrying a single action auto with the safety locked, hammer cocked, and a round in the chamber - the way the Genius of Firearms designed it to be carried.

For those of you to whom that reference is too obscure: that would be Genius John Moses Browning.

I will always choose a 1911 cocked and locked over most pistols. I am most comfortable with ithis auto having used them for 30+ years.
