Getting hot from a .22? Am I reading that right?
No part of it is aluminum. It’s all plastic, receivers, handguard and all. The only part of this gun that isn’t is the barrel (which is a pretty thick barrel at that, same thickness as the .223 barrel) and the bolt carrier group. It's probably more dirty than anything. .22's for the most part shoot very dirty and plastic mags never seem to slide on aluminum very good anyway. I would imagine it won't take much fouling between the two to make them a little sticky.
While these are all valid points, I just walked in the other room, shoved 3 different mags in and all 3 dropped free. Gun has not been cleaned, oiled or had the mags cleaned.Try a thin layer of gun oil inside the mag well.
