- Tina Springer was shot while sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle Thursday
- Brent Parks, 79, was driving his truck when his Labrador jumped onto console
- That's when the .22 caliber handgun under the console sent a shot into Springer
- Springer, 44, who is Parks' caretaker, was taken to a local hospital

Pretty stupid to place a gun that can shoot like that. Not drop safe? Don't put that gun anywhere loaded.
