Hello I have been looking at remington 700's for hunting. I preffer the darker synthetic look and a 30-06 version. Heres the ones I have been looking at. "Model 700 SPS", Model 700 Long Range", or "Model 700 SPS Stainless"?
They are pretty much the same rifle with a few differences; such as the stock and type of steel used. All would be good for hunting larger game. If you are camping out, overnight, in the wilderness for several days, you'll probably want the Stainless model, to help prevent rust. Otherwise it doesn't matter which you choose. It boils down to which you like better.
