What's your favorite carry round for Glock?

After a few more "layaway" payments I may find myself in possession of a Glock 19X in 9mm.

I'm sure there's threads on the subject, but instead of resurrecting one I figured go for a fresh start.

What's your favorite self defense round (and why) ?

I tend to favor the Winchester Ranger T-Series and Hornady Critical Defense/Duty ammunition. However I don't own a Glock and probably never will.

No kidding.
With recent obesity problem in the US, I choose penetration over expansion.

And then severe reductions to firearm budget. I have a 9 month old. Hence the "layaway".

I had a 1911 I carried some years ago. Always carried FMJ Ball. But then the Kimber Feedramp wasn't fond of much else.

Speer Gold Dot or Federal HST. I cannot attest to the effectiveness in a Glock, but good ammo in my guns.

I don't carry my glock much but when i do it's either corbons or 124gr. home cast lead bullets being pushed by W231. Just depends on what mag i happen to grab.

LOL! You're safe from me. I'm actually hoping to move companies soon. I have an interview with a local bank next week.

Fair enough. The wife has her eyes on a 43X, so I'm going to be taking a look at getting some reloading equipment for 9mm.

Quantity over size. 16 rds of 9mm trumps 8 rds of .45 ACP.

Quite true. And the reason I didn't buy a 1911 this time. With 1 in the chamber and two magazines I'll have 56 rounds, versus 22 with the Kimber.

With one in the chamber and no spare magazines I have thirty two in my G26 that I carry in my Vertx EDC Transit Sling.

Those magazines look like so much fun. I'm definitely going to get one. Though I think mine will just end up being a Range Toy.
