I'm not quite sure what it is, but it's annoying for sure. It's keeping me from inserting a flashlight. Any thoughts? IWI Tavor 18

Put a knife on there and see what happens.

I don't know of an easy way to remove it someone else may be able to advise you but they make flashlight holders that mount on the lug or actually rails that you can mount accessories on.

Yeah, you're right. Fortunately I found a solution. Just got a low-profile bezel light that matches the diameter of the light-housing and doesn't protrude out past the lug itself. I'm thinking the Elzetta Bravo B225. I'd have to see though. I know the SureFire mini will work great; but the price tag is through the roof for just a light; although, I probably wouldn't be complaining about the price tag of the light if I wasn't planning on dumping $2,100 into an ACOG and DeltaPoint. Thanks for the info though.
