I ran across a really good deal a few months ago, so now I'm the proud owner of a GP100 in mint condition.

SS, 4" barrel, and not mark on her for $300, with ammo and two speed loaders!

Gotta love it.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm . . .

"Revolvers" . . .

Ruger New Super Blackhawk, 44 mag. Stainless, 10 1/2" bbl.

Ruger Security Six, .357 mag. blue, I think the bbl. is about 6".

Smith, Mod. 10, 38 Spl. heavy barrel, trigger job, factory ported.

Smith, Mod. 60, bobbed hammer.

Smith, Mod. 629, 44 mag. 4" bbl.

They're like children. Don't make me pick a "favorite."

None. I sold all my revolvers when I realized I never shot them. I sold my last one, a J-frame .38, when a KelTec P3AT replaced it for pocket carry. But handguns are just defensive tools for me.

I like revolvers.

I own a NAA Mini-magnum in 1 and 1/8" barrell - for the beach, a S&W 686 in .357 Mag - for plinking, and a S&W 629 in .44 Mag - for sleeping next to me.

I'm not recoil shy. Last week I placed a special order from Davidson's for a S&W 340 Scandium Airlite in .357 Mag. - my new CCW.

Yes. I do like revolvers.

I am a bit of both. I have a ruger GP100 in .357 and a ruger redhawk in .44 magnum, also an old ivor johnson model 1900 in .32 auto. Most of my semi's are 1911s.

hows the action on the ruger. ive picked a few up but the triggers kinda gritty. do they breakin pretty good?
They broke in great, clean it, oil it down. I took the Redhawk to a smith to have it smoothed and the trigger pull eased up and now it feels wonderful.
