Gonbalistik and I were discussing the "Empty Holster Protest" of this last week and how creative we thought it was. Here's the link to the story:(http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,304806,00.html).

We are so accustomed to hearing of the privileged brats on America's campuses whining and jumping up and down and holding their breath until they turn blue, in order to get their way...It was a breath of fresh air to hear about this. Mature, appropriate, and hopefully effective.

What do y'all think?

I thought it was a class act, bringing to bear Civil Obedience in order to make their point.

I agree, a very creative and effective way to protest. I hope they keep up the pressure and draw a lot of new members into the fold and pick up some media coverage. I suspect the media will distance themselves from this issue since it doesn't suit their agenda of protecting the first amendment and tanking the second!
