Always wanted one of the original Savages in that caliber combo. Should be a great farm gun.

 

The originals were 22 LR not 22 WMR. Nonetheless, it'll be a great gun.

 

I guess you’re all set if your plane goes down in a remote wilderness.

 

This country will be a remote wilderness if it keeps going the way it is… (but I’ll save those thoughts for the political threads)

My first shotgun was the model 24, 20 ga/22 I got in 1969/70.

I put a lot of miles on that gun. Still have it.

 

I've always wanted one of these multi caliber guns. My LGS had one of these Savages for a long time but never bit the bullet. Want I would really want for a SHTF gun is one of these but it's pricey and probably not a great quality gun or great in the accuracy dept. Still would be cool but not over 1k cool
