Buy a few stripped lowers. That is considered the gun and you can build later on.

This is the grandfathers clause. It just didn't say it was outright. Someone pointed it out to me.
(3) A person lawfully owning or otherwise possessing an
assault weapon before the effective date of this section.
So i'll have proof i owed before the bill is passed. I'll ask Zach it gators to write me something if need be. I'll save my reciept from my lower that is on the way. This whole thing may not make it past committee. As it didn't before i was told.

What about that annoying document, The Constitution? It was ruled by the SCOTUS that you can’t ban guns in common use. With over 25 million in the hands of Americans, that pretty much says common use. Yeah I know it will have to be fought out in the courts but it’s enough for a first year law student to get a TRO or even get it tossed out all together.

Pa fire arms owners against crime. Sent me this about the clause.
Allen,

Under 6121(b)(3) they included a grandfather clause to try to convince folks who already own not to stand against this tyranny. It’s a farce… once they get this through they’ll eliminate the grandfather clause as well. Several other states have taken that route.

When your legislators flipped to Dem I had a feeling this BS was coming to PA.
I remember talk a few years ago of PA wanting to institute purchasing permits like NJ has.

I really wish one of these 2A rights group would challenge the purchasing permits scheme.
I just paid $75 for 3 permits. They used to be $2.00.
So not only did I have to ask permission to exercise a constitutional right, I had to pay for it too. 🤬

I truly hope none of this comes to PA.

Speed, now you have to renew your FID every few years with the entire process being just like it was your first time. Submit fingerprints, references and all of the associated fees.

So, by providing receipts to government officials (which they would log and record) in order to purchase items for your firearms, you are de facto providing them a partial list of guns in your possession. Am I missing something?

Good thing many civilians don’t own “assault weapons”, they are already covered by the NFA of 1968.
Let your ignorant legislators know that they are full of shlt and demand that they resign for not knowing the difference.
