discontinue all sales of handgun ammunition and sales of short-barrel rifle ammunition

So no more 9mm? 380?? 40?? Nothing but shotgun? Wait til someone uses a shotgun, then that will be gone too. So much for cheap ammo.

Can order as much ammo as I need on line. Open carry was never my idea of a smart way to carry. So I am still going to shop at Walmart.

discontinue all sales of handgun ammunition and sales of short-barrel rifle ammunition .....Well being short barrel rifles are banned in NY we should be ok except for the lack of pistol ammo. I rarely buy ammo anyway and when i did buy it from walmart it was .22's but it's been over a years since i bought any there.

I have being buying ammo at Walmart, because is close to home, prices were reasonable and it was convenient. If Walmart won't sale ammo at its stores, then I have the only excuse I had to visit Walmart, I do not care to buy they cheaply made Chines products.

Walmart was not the cheapest around; not even that convenient.

Just what does this mean? In my state, I am authorized by the constitution to open carry, which the police need to follow and enforce.

  • "It’s also asking shoppers to no longer openly carry firearms in stores, in states where “open carry” is allowed, unless they are authorized law enforcement officers."

Considering they support more US companies and manufacturers than Target, Dicks, Kmart and dozens of others, your hatred is misplaced.

I don't go to Walmart to buy ammo, sometimes I just stop and buy a box when passing the sporting section if my allowance permits it. That's how I have bough most of my ammo. I don't have the cash to buy bulk, and the lgs marks it up pretty high. I'm sorry to see them stop selling ammo, and it won'r stop someone who wants to shoot up a Walmart.
I only go to WalMart for the laughs.

It means Walmart will tell you to leave if you try to open Cary in their stores now.

Same here.

I'll get flamed for saying it on a gun forum, but I could probably do without the typical mouth breathing open carry crowd while in a store that already has a disproportionate amount of shoppers that could be described as poor decision makers.

As usual it is not the libs to worry about, but the gun owners who are all too willing to stab law abiding gun owners in the back. And people wonder how we got down this road of compromise until nothing left to compromise.

My problem is the conceal carry cop wannabes that shoot people when they shouldn't because of Don Johnson Syndrome.

But you are NOT authorized by the constitution to access private property where you are NOT WELCOME.
