The Plexiglas door, along with acrylic hinges, handle and hasp (and solvent/glue) should be here Tuesday. Wish me luck installing. It looks easy on the Tap Plastics videos... But we'll see.

Dang… will be taking a grinder to this beautiful knife that arrived today

what the heck were the designers of this pocket knife thinking? See the 90 degree corner at the base of the blade that sticks out so high and prominently when the blade is closed? Well… it’s sharp enough to cut skin and cut the inside of your pants pocket material

im going to try and make the edges LIKE THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN MADE

damn it Carl, you had one job! (I presume there is a moron at Grest Eastern Cutlery named Carl… who thought No one would notice the razor sharp edges)

Here's the latest pics of my collection so far... About 26 USA-made knives with a patriotic theme from 14 different manufacturers

I have a couple more not displayed that I currently carry

It's taken me a couple of years to find these

You knife guys probably know this but "Forged in Fire" is back on cable TV. I really like it!
I just started watching it recently (we don't have cable so I catch it on the airwaves.... Re-runs I presume)

One the craftsman that made two of the fixed blade knives above (Ken Hall) was on season 5.

Sure would like to have this USA-made Spartan-Harsey folder...

However, the "God and Country" model costs $525

Just can't pull the trigger on this one... I have a few expensive knives, but this one seems too high

Two more older USA-made knives with a patriotic theme incoming...

- A Camillus leverlock "flag" model

- An American Eagle (made by Schrade in the US) Thomas Jefferson commemorative

I'm up to about 28 knives in this collection from 16 different manufacturers. I'm trying not to duplicate type of knifes or locking systems, hence my first leverlock and my first 3 blade srockman pocket knife

Next up some patiotic themed throwing knives (made is US of course)

So i looked up spartan harsey being i have never heard of them. Nice looking knives but i just can see speding that type of money on a knife. I did see a few with more reasonable prices. I just don't understand how they justify a $500 folding pocket knife. is it mostly the prestige of the name or does it come with a $400 coupon to a cat house?
