I collect knives made in USA with a patriotic design. Here's a few I've accumulated so far from manufacturers such as:

Buck, Pro-Tech, Kershaw, Zero Tolerance, Case XX, Guardian Tactical

I try to get a variety... Lock back folders, automatics, fixed blade, assisted opening, flippers, etc

Working on a display case for them now as my current project

Nice collection. I bought a new knife the other day. Not a collectors one though. I got a swiss army knife the tinker. Still deciding if that one will go in my hunting bag. Or in my vibe. I have a Officer Susie i keep in the saturn.

Here's the wall display I made for my small, but growing, collection of USA-made patriotic-themed knifes.

Still need to design and make a glass door for it (display is in my office/shop where it is dusty)

The bottom left tanto is an OTF Guardian Tactical - recon elite model

The bottom right is a Pro-Tech TR 4.41 auto with a safety

Next up is a Buck Spitfire and two Case knives... A woodchuck and a cooperlock

Above those are a Case cheetah and a Zero Tolerance hinderer 0562

Then it goes Buck gent, Kershaw Leek and Buck 110

Then a Kershaw Link and on top a Case Bowie

I like the finish you put on your display case.

1- soaked some 000 steel wool in vinegar for two days
2- slathered that on wood (let it dry a few days) ... It greyed it out and "aged it" a bit
3- then finished by putting some minwax wood finish penetrating stain #271 (classic gray) on it

Added another to the collection

This Buck 5" fixed blade special edition (#1102 of 7600 made) called "Spirit of '76" has been languishing inside the wooden display box in which it was packed to ship/display for 45 years... and needed a good home. It now sits proudly in my wall display

A custom made fixed blade I ordered from Ken Hall, a well known knife maker in North Carolina

A new-in-box old stock (from 1986) Schrade made in USA "statue of liberty" folder... Found it on flea-bay

Found this Case trapper collector/commemorative model "Enduring Freedom" from 2001 on AAPK (all about pocket knives) for sale.

The bombs showing are falling on Afghanistan and are marked NYPD and FDNY.

How far we've come (the wrong way) since 2001 and to think 20 years later FJB left our soldiers, citizens and some allies there to die.

Nice addition to the collection.

There's a big Smokey Mountain Knife Works off 40 near Sevierville, TN on the way to Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, it's huge. I never stopped in next chance I get I might have to make it a point to drop in.

My primary mission was to visit a kid or take a kid to Dollywood when I was passing by so I could never justify stopping in. If you were a kid and your father or grandfather was taking you to Dollywood imagine spending hours in a boring knife store with Dollywood almost in spittin' distance. That might scar a kid for life.

Ordered a Scottish Sgian Dubh today from custom knife maker Ken Hall (in North Carolina)

It's a knife the Scots wear in their kilt hose/socks. I'll wear it in a sheath clipped to my cowboy boots as a boot knife.

Here's what the knife will look like, except he'll be using the red white and blue material for the handle instead of the maple

Should be done by Christmas
