I was just watching a TV show called “Manhunters: Fugitive Task Force”. They hunted this guy who was a known gang member in Trenton NJ. The gang task force hunted this guy down who was known to be armed and dangerous. After much police work and resources they caught him hiding in a house between the mattress and box spring, lol. He was found guilty of weapons charges including illegal possession of a handgun. He got 3 years........probation and 100 hours of community service. WTH? He should have gotten 3 years in jail. That’s what they would have done to you or me. No wonder criminals aren’t afraid of the cops or the courts.

Don't you get it? They WANT to keep releasing the thugs, especially the minority ones, so crime will explode thus giving them the "need" and "reasons" to institute Martial Law and impose Nazi rule...........

Our criminal justice system is broken, which is one of the reasons why so many people carry now-a-days.

Springfield, Vermont has a handful of known members of major gangs from other states that effectively have immunity from the law (at least on the local level). They get transferred into the county prison from other locations, then, instead of sending them back where they came from, they get put on parole locally. The kicker is that they are still actively participating in illegal activities, but the local cops can't touch them because it "may jeopardize ongoing federal investigations." Supposedly, the only time the local cops can step in is if it is to stop a violent crime that is currently in progress.

Bear in mind, this is all hearsay, since they would never officially announce anything like that to the public.

Remember Fast & Furious?

This is the same thing except its criminals, instead of guns, being moved around. Its an underhanded attack on the 2nd Amendment.

You don't get it, Stamps. That was a dog and pony show, tracking him down. The truth outed, during sentencing. The Courts, Police, and Career Criminals are all working on the same team.

SURE, you and I would have gotten our clocks cleaned, probably spent the rest of our lives in prison. Who are WE, to expect Justice, own firearms, and stand in the way of their rigged system?

And to rub salt into our wounds here, NJ has me waiting over 5 weeks for 2 permits to purchase handguns. I guess 68 years of being a law abiding citizen is tough for them to comprehend.

The extreme left wants to create a chaotic society so they can make laws to "protect us" which would increase their police powers to the point were the USA would become a police state. When such times arrives, they will have total control of the masses. Part of the plan is the removal of weapons from private ownership, they can not have control of the masses, if the masses have the tools to defend themselves from a tyrannical government. As an example, just look at Venezuela and Cuba.

The 2nd amendment was created, not to allow citizens to go hunting, the main reason of the 2nd was to give citizen the tools needed to defend themselves against a tyrannical government.

Firearm charges against criminals are most always pleaded to lesser crimes and they never to the intended sentances for them. I see it all the time in Connecticut. Its five years mandatory jail time if caught with a firearm and no license to carry. Well, this is used a a plea barginging tool and gets most always knocked down to a lesser crime or thrown out all together and just charged with the crime he used the firearm for.

Pretty much the same in NY and i never hear about any violent type criminals getting extra charges from the "safe act laws". Not once have i seen so and so gang member arrested for robbery, possession of a handgun and things like illegal mags or other things that would be a safe act crime. the only time i hear about those if it's a gun guy who has committed no other crime and gets caught with an illegal mag or gun configured the wrong way etc. It's almost like it's a whole set of laws that don't apply to regular criminals and are there just to turn ordinary people into criminals.

The justice system in the USA, with the help of the DemocRATS, is being changed so laws will only apply to law abiding average citizens. If the individual is a criminal, they can plea down, get low jail time or simply let go free, but, if you happens to be a law abiding citizen carrying a gun, they will trow the book at you. The criminals are becoming a "protected class", the average law abiding gun owners are, according to the left, the actual criminals that MUST be punished with the harshest sentence possible. A typical Socialist environment.
