If they had a 20ga I’d be all over it. I just don’t enjoy the 12ga recoil like when I was younger and 20ga is just about as good for most uses.

When I was looking for a 18 inch tactical shotgun. The Remington 870 marine caught my attention briefly.
I agree, they are sharp looking shotguns

Both the guns sam and coal showed i think are made by the same company. I bought one under the name of escort and they are made in Turkey. Doesn't seem like a bad gun for the money but it's certainly no 870. I haven't fired mine enough to say how reliable it is. I bought it just to have something down in the basement in case some undesirable comes in upstairs being I'm down there a lot of reloading or working on other projects.

I'm not much of a shotgun guy but I do have a Remington Marine Magnum in 12ga. A lot of fun, like any pump action shotgun. Very heavy, though.

Ok, so because of this thread I thought... yanno, I wouldn't mind having one of those 870 marines.

Yeah, well...that thought ended as quick as it came. They're $1200-1500 on Gunbroker.
Not a chance that's happening.

Ya cheap skate!

I’m tempted to go for one of these but as I said I’m not much of a 12ga guy. Still tempting though. I’ll let it simmer a few days.

If I'm droppin $12-1500 on a gun it sure as heck aint going to be a Remington 870. It's going to be another Dan Wesson 1911.
