Cleaned my 22's, think I'll leave the patches and paper towels in the trash for while.....

I wish i could smell it. I lost a lot of my sense of smell. Dr's never figured out why. Camp fires i can smell good and some foods cooking.

I don't have that problem, can't smell things. I smell things that I shouldn't be smelling....something tells me that's not good either.

Irrespective of all the newer whiz-bang cleaning products, I still use Hoppes. I am in my 80's and have been using it for decades and still love the smell!

Have you ever used G-96 CLP ? For a while I wanted to use it as a cologne, it smells that good, not kidding lol

Old time Hoppes fan, and my wife likes the smell also, therefore cleaning in the house is never an issue.

Hands down the best smelling gun lubricant. To me it resembles eggnog. Oh and it works good to which is a plus.

I used to always travel with guns that needed cleaning. When the motel would put me in a room that had been inhabited heavy smokers, I would pour a trail of Hoppes all over the carpet just so I could breathe.

I’m sure those poor maids had to air out my room when I left.
