The Backyard Range Channel Launch...
Well, I have finally gotten around to creating a dedicated channel for gun related videos. This channel is an unsponsored, unbiased review of what I think about different guns, gun related products and so on. I just posted the intro video a few minutes ago if anyone is interested.

Nice video - It's not easy to do. I may offer one suggestion, count the number of times you say "uh".
It was an unscripted spur of the moment thing. It’s a fault but I’ll manage. Hopefully will get better as we go. I found a way around the upload situation, however, cumbersome to setup. Now I just have to figure out how to anticipate the reduction in audio quality after upload. Okay, I have to ask ...... Why do you have trigger locks on all your guns, but leave the keys in the locks???
That’s the inside door of my safe. They are only there to hold the guns to the door securely so they don’t shift or fall when opening and closing the door. It’s a big heavy door. No actual need for the locks apart from that, you have to get the safe open to get to them.Okay, I have to ask ...... It’s faster to turn the key and pull it free than fishing in the safe for a pistol, the mags are loaded right near to the gun they belong to.

I've seen you come a long way in a very short period of time.....keep the momentum. Kinda cool seeing a star being born!
I wouldn’t go that far but it should be fun. There are a few things planned but awaiting a couple pieces to fall into place. Next week I’ll pick up the XDE and we’ll do a side by side with the XDS, XDM and the XDE compacts. Probably be a 4 part series. Awaiting some .458 SOCOM ammo to show up for a AR-15 side by side with .223, 300 blackout and 458 SOCOM. Might hold off just a little bit on this one. I’d like to go ahead and build the 50 Beowulf and a 6.5 Grendel to add to these before we do it, that way we can cover a wider array of possibilities. We’ll break that up into a side by side followed by an in-depth breakdown and discussion for each. I’m doing a few small ones until the bugs are worked out. The whole process is buggy.
So... still a work in progress. I fixed the volume on the XDM cleaning video but unfortunately requires a new upload and new link, so I added an intro. Got the upload down to approximately 20-25 min per 1 min of video. Needless to say, these run overnight. Took about 12 hours to upload 32 min of video last night. Still working on my dialogue. Managed to control the “um’s“ but have found I’ve replaced them with other repeated words that annoy me (maybe because I’ve seen them 35 times before uploading). Working on it.
I’ve only uploaded a couple cleaning videos but I pick up my XDE tomorrow. We’ll be moving on to some shooting/reviews pretty soon.
This is the latest, constructive criticism is welcome. Everyone who participates in this thread plays a part in shaping the channel.
Btw, my wife captured the photo of the backyard that I used in the intro. I thought it was too good not to use so I branded the intro with it.
