Hi All!
I was curious on some target designs. I ask because I want to make a target board for this summer when I go up to my Friend's Uncle's house this coming summer. We are aloud to fire rifles on his grounds in accordance with law. Normally we just shoot trap, but we want to be able to do target practice also. I was thinking of simple taking 1/4" plywood squares and attaching them to 2" x 4" stakes, and stapling paper targets to that. Would this be acceptable?

If someone has another Idea that is more durable but just as cheap, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

Thanks for your time all!

I only shoot open sights. What I do is find something scrap, preferably steel, but only at 100 yds. or more, set it up and shoot, just make sure no buildings, vehicles, or your own body is within ricochet range. Also, I face the target up or down slightly to make it even safer.
