Hey all.

Any tips as to how I should hold a gun for both speed and accurate shooting?

How strong should my grip be?

What stance should I take for increased accuracy? I like the Weaver stance a lot--it just feels right, you know?

Should the barrel line up with my forearm?

Thanks guys.

Description on YouTube: IPSC(International Practical Shooting Confederation) champion teaches how to properly grip a handgun and shoot accurately.

Very informative and I can only assume he knows what he's talking about.

Yes, Mr. Jarret knows what he's talking about.

Just like with race cars, how technology trickles down from the track to the street....well, these IPSC guys are the race car drivers of pistol shooting.

I prsonally like a modified type Weaver stance which is more relaxed than the text book version. As far as gip, the upper part of your grip (index finger and thumb) needs to be predominantly stonger the lower part (the pinky), and if you want to strengthen your grip you should use an inverted handgrip with the coil down at the pinky end and the open end up with the index finger and thumb.
