I'm planning on building a 1911 from the frame up and I'm trying to decide between to two frame choices. What would be your choice and why?

I prefer the single stack 45 acps. The doubles are too big for my hands and the extra weight of those big 45 rounds adds too much lard to the pistol, in my opinion.

The beauty of the 1911 45acp is it is very flat and tucks well against the body. The big grip pistols are more difficult to carry.
