im looking for a 9mm semi auto pistol for idpa and i want to hear some opinions on weather to buy a double or single action handgun

if you plan to do all of the events i would suggest getting a 1911 in 45 ACP and then a 9mm for the other events. I have a xd sub-compact and xdm-9. i do better with the sub-compact though. both are nice guns have large mag capacities. (sub is 13+1 or 16+1, xdm is 18+1)
