During basic training at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in 1954, we sighted-in our M-1s on a 1000 inch range (27.7yds). It worked.
Does anyone know the "above aim point" used for the 27.7yd distance. My existing range distance here is 60 yds at best so the shorted, effective distance would be great.
