Now you can explain why the public has an AD/ND syndrome named after

the pistol?

And, oh, yeah, I, for one, am waiting to be impressed.

These are striker fired, plastic, and have no external safety.

That's a lot of strikes against a pistol which is supposed to be sooo great.

Well, Glock like every other firearm ever made isn't idiot proof. Like it or not, it's one of the most tested, most reliable, most widely used and one of the most popular handguns ever produced. I don't know how much "sooo great" is, but judging from their sales in both the professional and civilian market, its fair to say that it is in fact a great pistol.

AD/ND is only pertaining to the operator of the said weapon. These are all operator malfunction. Not the weapon. No different than any other striker fired gun.

I don't like Glocks but I also know that they work and are a great gun for some.

AD/ND syndrome that you say the pistol is named after is really a reference the owner of the pistol. It also goes to the fact that there are millions of them out there. The more guns the more AD's/ND's.

OP: Nice job on the video. Poland? I like .

Now, you see, the 1911A1, and 92FS were designed for the US ARMY. They ARE "idiot proof", they have to be.

I'll take "not", as we have a wide difference of opinion on what is "reliable" , or a great pistol. Toilet tissue is the

most widely used paper, now, and judging from it's sales in the professional and civilian market, is it fair to say

it's "great", also?

Nice Video. I found it a bit odd that the text (I'm not talking about the closed captioning/subtitles) in the video was in english and the video was done in polish. outside of that, nice video

I completely agree.
I am not a Glock. They are simply not for me but I would have no reservation or hesitation about staking my life on one. They are a proven, capable firearm.

When it comes to ND/AD, NOTHING is idiot proof, not a 1911 not a 92fs, not even a hammer. Where there is carelessness, complacency or outright stupidity. the idiot will find a way. The majority of ND/ADs are the failure of implantation of four simple rules, nothing more, nothing less. I'm not aware of a single firearm that will fire when human interaction isn't involved (other that the rare dog/cat/whatever somehow engaged the trigger story).

Not really sure how one could reasonably and logically conclude a Glock is unreliable. I guess if you discount all the facts one could end up there, however bias doesn't change or replace facts.

People have their preferences with guns like anything else. Nothing wrong with that, shoot what you like, I know that's what I do.
