Anybody out there still shoot anyone of these old Rugers? I got a couple of Security-Sixs that I still shoot often. They just feel good and are still very accurate.

I do also. Got mine in 1976 and so it has the Liberty stamped on it. Great gun.

I had a Security Six with an aftermarket hard chrome finish and a professional trigger job and the 2 3/4" barrel. It was a wonderfully accurate and reliable piece. I'm not sure what happened but I allowed myself to be talked into trading it for the S&W 19-3 that now resides in its place in the safe. I'm sorry I got rid of the Ruger, because I really didn't need to trade to afford the S&W. We all make mistakes and this is one of my worst miscues, at least with respect to firearms deals.
