Nothing but good things to say so far 4 mag run (40rds), 0 malfunctions. Sights were spot on @ 30ft. Am a little weary of the 2 piece polymer trigger. Can’t say I like that a bit but is solid at the moment, not a complaint just a little weary that’s all. Time will tell. Overall nice piece.
Another significant difference is inside. The .380 has the barrel seated in the slide. It will tilt when the slide is pulled back. To disassemble draw the slide back the to the catch, turn the takedown lever, press the catch release and slide the slide assembly forward to remove.
The .22 has a fixed barrel. Seated on the frame. It won’t tilt when the slide is drawn back. To disassemble draw the slide back to the catch, turn the takedown lever, then draw the slide all the way back and lift the back of the slide about 10 degrees, just high enough to clear the barrel, the slide it forward to remove.
I put some new foam in my XDM .40 cases and reused them for these. Too nice of cases to not use. Moved the inserts for the XDM’s to a bigger case. I like having matched pairs in the same case. May just be OCD but I like it better this way.
