It's the new business math, applicable to cars, guns, and whatever else: Poorly designed safety mechanism + clumsy operator malfunction = RECALL !!!

I hope this is not a duplicate post.....FYI

https://ruger.com/dataProcess/markIVRecall/
just a word of note for anyone with the Volquartsen trigger kit installed. I talked to then a little while ago and they have had no indication that their sear exhibits this problem. They will be doing testing today to ensure the safety of their sear. Keep an eye on their website for further info, they will also be sending out an email to their mailing list.

I was signing to post this. My local gun store published it on their FB page.

I don't know if I got lucky with the one Taurus I own (a PT 738 TCP), or whether Taurus just designed this one right, and having it manufactured in the USA was a QC plus, but the recent rash of recalls by many manufacturers (my KelTec Gen 2 Sub 2000 is being recalled) has removed all the faith I had in so-called quality makers, and removed all anxiety about buying another Taurus (the 608 is on my short list).
