What is the difference. They look the same. Anybody have a clue?

I own an old Mark l and a stainless Mark ll, also the 22/45. What improvements did they make over the Mark ll?

Mark III has a loaded chamber indicater and a mag disconeck and is a pain in the rear to take apart , even worst than a mark II or I , I would stay with the mark II if i was in the amrket for one , even thru they are getting harder to find

Thanks for the information. I sure love my Ruger autos. I have had one since the 1970's and its as good as the day I bought it. Still has the same springs, etc. Fantastic pistols.

But...................I hate taking the darn things apart!!!!

Luv that fluted barrel . I've got the Mk II slabside competition that I'm keeping for my grandson- safe queen till then.
