I have noticed that about 3/4 of women that are NEW shooters use a revolver. Why is that? They always talk about how they are just like men...... It also seems that men always start or rather have a semi..... Weird or just me?

You certainly have a good point there. Most women just use them for conceal carry. Not really plinking or comp. Never really thought of it like that.

I have a problem thinking sometimes....... ERG.

for concealed gun a auto is not a purse gun.
My wife never leaves the house without her Browning BDM. I bought her a purse that is designed for carry concealed. What I like about the purse is the compartment where the gun lives is lined with some type of nylon that will not wick the oil out fof the gun and keeps all the rest of the junk in her purse from getting all over the gun.

More importantly, every month her gun gets a go over; cleaned and lubed by me. The last Saturday of each month is gun maintenance day, all the guns, even the ones in the safe get a going over. Your guns are an investiment and like your car need some TLC on a regular basis. The gun in my wife's purse is, God forbid, what will bring her home to me if something really bad happens. I couldn't live with myself if she needed it and it failed for the lack of 1/100 cent worth of lube or a chunk lint was cought in the mechanism.
