I see "Joes" in Portland has the Remington Golden Bullet 22 LR for $9.99 for a 525 quantity box. Limit 2 per customer. Regular price is $16.99! Thats a good price.

Ooooops................sale price is really $14.99 and you mail in to get a $5 rebate per box. Still not bad.

Can you beat that price??

That is a pretty good price... at least nowadays.

I was looking at an old brick stack I have of 22lr. 1,000 rounds... $9.99
.40 S&W 100 round box... $6.99
9mm Luger 250 round box... $21.88

Ahhh... those were the days!
I bet some of the older folks could make us all drool over some prices... back when Gasoline was a mere .49 a gal...lol

(PS - I do rotate my ammo... just keep the boxes around to hold parts etc..lol)

I hate to date myself but gas was 19 cents a gallon when I was in high school and it was hard to come up with enough money to drive all evening. We all pooled our change to keep the car going.
A senior in high school in 1960. I can't imagine how cheap bullets were at that time. Seems like yesterday. ;) ;)
