Got out to the range today with the Canik, and well, I knew this was going to be a slick gun, but I wasn't quite prepared for just how well it would perform. It has a great trigger, but I already knew that, what really made it excell was the well-balanced weight and the easy to acquire sight picture, coupled with the (rather comfortable) extended grip and the longer sight radius that comes with having a longer barrel.
Most of my shots hit the 10 ring, there were a few faster shots in which my sight alignment was likely slightly off, hence the fliers. Probably replace the rear sight, it's a blank notch, and I would like a 3-dot configuration. I might get an optic for it, but it's already a tack driver, so why spend the money?
