a family member if mine gave me an EIG .38 to refinish. I collect and clean up old guns. I have never heard of this brand. I was wondering if anyone had information about them. It says made in Italy. Anything would be great. Happy Shooting :thumbsup:

i can try

i have it in pieces now i have to put it back. I just do not know if i should spend the time re-doing it. I think it is missing the firing pin. if you find out anything that would be cool. i am new to this forum. When i figure out how to post a pic i will. thanks

EIG was an importer of inexpensive guns during the 50's and 60's.

They originally sold in the under $25 range and have very little value today. In fact I'd be reluctant to even shoot many of them with today's ammo.
