Obviously this is a far fetched scenario but tell me what you think. The other day we were poking fun at a buddy's .22 carry gun, telling him he'd have to beat someone with it to hurt them, which led me to this thought. Say you are in a very crowded place, a fair or a mall for instance, and you are attacked or robbed. This would naturally attract a crowd so most likely you are not going to fire you gun. How do you think a polymer-framed gun would hold up to a good old fashioned pistol whipping? My guess is if you struck with the butt of the gun and made good contact with the skull you'd be buying an all metal gun the next day to replace it.
