hey my name is jared. i found an old revolver with a wooden grip in a patch of kudzu. it has the number 3 on the cylinder, the pin that holds the cylinder, and on the front pin sight. there are difrent style skrews throughout the revolver. the barrel is rifled. the gun has pitting all over it, but no name, date, or any kind of makers mark. just the number 3. the wooden grip appears to be in very good condition also. octagon barrel. appears to have had a trigger guard but not now. on the bottom of the grip there is a metal circle loop. if you have any information to aid me in the identification of this gun please text me at 678-234-3578 or contact me on here. thanks! A bigger concern than the gun's ID or value is that it could be important evidence in a crime. I'd contact your local police department & ask them for advice.

you can tell it is really old. it dosent have a flange i think its called on the grip. i will check that though. thanks
