I have a pair of Peltor sport 100's I like that's held up well. I try to keep them near my bed with flashlights and, don't tell anybody, my carry gun. Sometimes I forget to pack them for range trips so they're not as well used as they should be.
26db isn't ideal but with the electronic muffs there's a tradeoff. I also use plugs under my elec muffs. I have a plug connection to pipe in music but have resisted the temptation. It's a good feature to have in case you want to use it. I guess like all electronics and older models over time the price drops. You can buy the same model I have for around half the price I paid. Oh well.
