Hi all,

I have a Remington UMC Model 51 in .32. I have forever been trying to find out what the hole is just above and behind the trigger on the right side. It appears to be missing a cap/plug.

Picture is below. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

That's one pistol I've never had apart but it looks to be merely a cover plug.

Thanks Popeye. I inherited this gun and it was missing the magazine. I found that but have had no luck finding this plug. Do you think this is an access point for lubrication? A very comfortable little pistol that I would like to take to the range if I can find this plug and have a good smith look over first.
