Made in 1888, same year my deceased grandmother was born. She had one idential to it, when she died one of my ornery relatives up and stole it, hope they get a warm corner of hell- it was promised to me.
So I bought my own. Here tis: Don't know the nick name, it's just a S&W model 1 1/2 in .32

Thats a damn fine looking derringer you got there, got to love that nickle plateing. :)

Nice looking piece. Didn't it used to be referred to as the boot or purse pistol?

that is what derringers are, boot guns purse guns and LDG (last ditch guns)
