You have what looks like a .577 Snider carbine. It started it's life as an Enfield muzzle loading black powder rifle and was converted into a black powder cartridge breech loading rifle. There are a few other companies that did this back in the day all with a very similar design so it's possible it could be another.

Yes the rifle started out as a pattern 1853 Enfield rifled musket and was converted to the .577 Snider cartridge.
