Old Member, New Account

Hello all,

Some of you who have been around for awhile (if you remember me) may know me by the username xXSARGEXx. Given how much has happened in the several years since I was last active, I thought it appropriate to create a new account and re-introduce myself.

So, for those who don't know, a bit about me; I grew up in Vermont, joined the Navy straight out of high school, met my wife while going through A School (after basic, before the fleet), did my 4 years active service, then decided to move on to greater things. After the Navy, I returned to Vermont, then moved to Virginia, then back to Vermont, then gave Chicago a shot, then finally settled back in Vermont, all over the course of about a year. I've been back in Vermont for a little over a year now and plan to stay here at least a few more. I may decide to move back down south or go next door to New Hampshire later down the road, but for now, I am where I am.

What are my interests? Well, aside from guns, I am also an avid gamer, a DIY mechanic, and an amateur motorsports enthusiast (ok, I haven't competed yet, but I'm working towards it). I describe myself as being casually competitive and will try to find contest in pretty much anything, but it's all in good fun.

Now, gun stuff, what I've owned, what I now own, what I want to own. In the past, I have owned l, but had to sell (bills happened), a Sig P250 (first gun I parted with), a Springfield 1911A1, and an FNS9. I currently have a S&W model 29-2, colt police .38 (both highway patrol variants), S&W SD9VE (my EDC), CZ 511, H&R hammerless 410, and a Savage .243 (not sure of model #). Right now I am just looking to expand my collection with things that are cool and/or fun, collectors value is a plus too.

Well, that's me in a nutshell, looking forward to re-mingling with the community.
