Is there a lobby group that is trying to fundamentally change the NFA and GCA particularly regarding "machine guns"?

The NFA and GCA are effectively infringing on the rights of law-abiding citizens to own modern machine guns, by making even the legal ones prohibitively expensive. The legal ones are also now 27 years old.

What is the name of this 'lobby group'?

Does it have a website?
A mailing address?
A telephone number?

the Second Amendment fairytale

What's amazing about this issue is how blind and brainwashed even the majority of the gun owners are about it! The right enumerated by the Second Amendment was really effectively taken away on May 19th, 1986, when the last weapons that a "Militia" would use were made, which are still available for civilian ownership.

Even the NRA continues to peddle the idea that 2A is still in effect, to protect their business model and maximize the revenue. If they admitted that the main 2A right was already taken away 27 years ago, they would have to come out with some other gig. ...That they are protecting the right of civilians to own guns that haven't yet been outlawed for civilian ownership, which doesn't sound as good as the 2A fairytale they are still selling us...

You may have a point although I suggest you read up on the National Firearms Act of 1934.

good ol' Ronald Reagan was another 2A sell-out

Yes, I should have also listed the Gun Control Act of 1968 and the FOPA amendment of 1986, which banned machine guns made after that from civilian ownership, that the NFA originally subjected to regulation.

That brings up another interesting fact most people don't know: the FOPA amendment of 1986 was signed into law by that great champion and protector of individual rights, limited government and US Constitution - president Ronald Reagan! :)

Your attacks on the NRA and on President Reagan did not go unnoticed.

Almost everyone of your new posts and threads have been about NRA and President Reagan with the FOPA. What is your goal? Did you just find this out? You looking to spread your new found information, thinking that someone from the gov was hiding a secret us? Please elaborate.
