New NY bail laws

Well idiot andy is at it again with his justice system reform and doing away with bail on many criminal offenses and simply issuing appearance tickets instead. This should work out great for repeat offenders. Most NY'ers i know do want justice system reform but in a way that keeps criminals in jail longer, not out quicker. Here is a list of things you'll be set free if charged with starting 1-1-20. Happy new year..

1. Assault in the third degree.
2. Aggravated vehicular assault.
3. Aggravated assault upon a person less than eleven years old.
4. Criminally negligent homicide.
5. Aggravated vehicular homicide.
6. Manslaughter in the second degree.
7. Unlawful imprisonment in the first degree.
8. Coercion in the first degree.
9. Arson in the third and fourth degree.
10. Grand larceny in the first degree.
11. Criminal possession of a weapon on school grounds or criminal possession of a firearm.
12. Criminal possession of a controlled substance in the first and second degree.
13. Criminal sale of a controlled substance in the first and second degree.
14. Criminal sale of a controlled substance in or near school grounds.
15. Specified felony drug offenses involving the use of children, including the use of a child to commit a controlled substance offense and criminal sale of a controlled substance to a child.
16. Criminal solicitation in the first degree and criminal facilitation in the first degree.
17. Money laundering in support of terrorism in the third and fourth degree.
18. Making a terroristic threat.
19. Patronizing a person for prostitution in a school zone.
20. Promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child.
21. Possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child.
22. Promoting a sexual performance by a child.
23. Failure to register as a sex offender.
24. Obstructing governmental administration in the first and second degree.
25. Obstructing governmental administration by means of a self-defense spray device.
26. Bribery in the first degree.
27. Bribe giving for public office.
28. Bribe receiving in the first degree.
29. Promoting prison contraband in the first and second degree.
30. Resisting arrest.
31. Hindering prosecution.
32. Tampering with a juror and tampering with physical evidence.
33. Aggravated harassment in the first degree.
34. Directing a laser at an aircraft in the first degree.
35. Criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.
36. Criminal sale of a firearm to a minor.
37. Enterprise corruption and money laundering in the first degree.
38. Aggravated cruelty to animals, overdriving, torturing and injuring animals.
39. Failure to provide proper sustenance.
40. Animal fighting.

Hey this is NY, why should a small indiscretion like that keep you from being free?
hmmmmm, many are felony crimes................here's hoping it all comes home to roost so folks will finally realize the D does not stand for dependable.....
But you can be fined up to 250K for using the term illegal immigrant in New York.
Priorities people!
Are their jails too full? It sounds that way, and NY was a dump long ago, this is merely insult to injury.
How many "arrestees" will high tail it to another state, once turned loose?
Probably none, they have it too good.
