Hi I have an original browning BLR 81’ in 22-250. It’s the older version not the lightweight or the takedown model. There’s a big dispute in our family as to the value of this said firearm. Can any of you help with a price range?!?......obviously the condition it’s in matters too. It’s in fairly good shape and is used every year hunting.(bottom on in picture is it. Top one is lightweight version) Please help!!! Thank you!!

Go to "GunsInternational.com" That is a basically commercial seller site i.e. Bass Pro/Cabalas, John salter. These folks don't run auctions they are in the gun SELLING business not the gun listing business.
Find a similar rifle to the Browning you have and go from there. Pictures help but we constantly get request to evaluate guns without touching them. That is impossible.
By the way welcome aboard.
I'm a retired internet investigator and I mention that to appeal from a position of authority and to make me sound cool and stuff because it's all about me.

Look for the item on Ebay.

A lady at work found a small part out on the bayou that said, "NASA," on it and some numbers.

I helped her contact NASA and they said she could keep it. Then she wanted to know what it was worth. I sent her to Ebay to look for similar items.

While she didn't find an exact match, she did get a a ballpark figure. It wasn't very valuable. She said she'd hold on to it and check later.

And welcome to the forum.
According to the "Gun Trader's Guide", 33rd Edition (so about 7 years old):

The BLR Model '81 in 22-250: New in Box $656; Excellent: $447; Good, $297
Wow, that is one heck of a name/ handle. I can’t pronounce it or spell it but welcome to the form.
^^^ Sounds like Cyrus says rawr (like a growl)

By the title of this thread I thought we were going to appraise the new member. That could have gone south real quick. Lol.
