445 max, about normal for a .177 CO2 pistol. This gun has a barrel best suited to BBs, since it is non-rifled. However, it also can shoot pellets. Cartridges for holding a BB are included, cartridges for holding a pellet can be ordered. I have been shooting both. The rear sight is fixed, and this is more of a "plinking" gun as opposed to target scoring. I would say the sight is just right for 10 yards. The workmanship and trigger, IMO, is outstanding. The grip is plastic, but looks like real wood, right down to a "inner glow".What sort of velocity do these things deliver?
