I don’t know why the back of the grip was cut unless their ambi safeties are quite oversized

Possible, who knows... G10s like that are cheap to replace. At least they took care of it.

Ambi cut grip should just have a recess on the back side for the safety lever. I am not sure why the top of your grip is cut off. This is an ambi cut grip.

Yes... It is an ambi. They probably just made a mistake on assembly and pulled the wrong one out of the parts bin. New ones enroute.

They said they don't have exact match for the right side grip in non-ambi... So they will send a new pair of G10 stocks that will be close. I'm a fan of G10 so if they are grippy... and look good on the stainless gun I'll be happy.
