Hey guys, before this summer's over, I have an urge to buy just one more gun. My budget's about 1K. At the moment, I have an FN military mauser, a Mosin m38, a Henry .22 lever-action, a Ruger 10/22, a Remington Police 870, and a Springfield M1A scout.

I'm thinking about maybe getting a large-bore lever action (like .454 casull) or an AR15 kit from Del-ton. I was also thinking about a better shotgun for shooting skeet than my 870 (bead is tough for me to use). Maybe an inexpensive double barrel or something.

Anyway, feel free to weigh in.

Well, after much deliberation and careful thought, my vote would have to be that you get an AR15 type weapon!

AR-15 . . .

I had one, Bushmaster, HB, floated short barrel, Redfield Tracker 6x scope.

They're boring. Get something that tosses some lead. I like the 45-70 Govt. these days, Ruger No. 1, Leupold.

I like an 8mm Mauser, or M1 Garand. AR-15 is a varmint rifle.

1 K for your budget is a good number with lots of choices, how ever I can not tell you what you want.. or should buy.. you have the urge to buy another gun and you have no purpose for this buy, then I can't help.. good luck
you should define your desire first , then get some recommendations.. Most will tell you what they have.. which has nothing to do with what you need.

a handgun seems to be missing..............depending on wants, needs, and desires........

a good .22, 357, or 45 comes to mind.

then again....i just like handguns.......
