New to this forum so hello to you all.
I was wondering if anyone out there could identify the maker of a gun part I have.
I got this at an estate sale and thought it was pretty neat.
The household it came from was owned by some Russian people I believe so my first guess would be that it could be a russian gun part but I dunno.
Here's a picture of the stamp, I tried to rotate it but couldnt-looks like some sort of bird head:

Any info would be appreciated.

I have a Blue Book that shows proof marks, and browsed the web a little and could not find anything close.

Post pics of the entire gun so others may try to identify it.

Thank you for the information
Unfortunately the only part I found was the trigger guard with the loading spring? and not the whole rifle(I wish)
I will post pics of those as soon as I find my charger LOL.

Ok here are the rest of the parts:

The spring has little wooden dowels in the rounded part at each bend.
Yeah, it woulda been nice if the rest of the rifle was there.

That's got me thinking Mauser.
Mauser, I'll have to do some searches.
Because of the M? I thought it was a W lol, but I know little and or nothing about gun identifying.
Hard to tell from the pics but the trigger guard area has a "mottled" finish or sort of a tortoise shell look to it.
